Fox Games represents chaos and fear found within ourselves. The foxes are out of control and all over the rom, but the people in the background do not take notice, showing how as prominent that it may be, it may not be paid attention to until the last second. I want to incorporate this meaning into my piece, showing the stress and fear I have about school and applying for college. My fear including everything I have to learn before going, and also whether I will be successful in the future. The palette of the piece is also something I want to include, black and grey with a pop of color. I will use red to tie into the piece, and red to me symbolizes stress and chaos, happening around the dull setting.

I wanted to include the table here like in Fox Games, but I had the girl sitting at the table with a look of despair. Her thoughts are scattered around the table and in the air. The foam was to represent fog and a sort of three dimensional thought bubble. The different symbols are in the bubbles and the fog is surrounding the scene. |
I created this sketch on the app Auto Desk Sketch Book. This time, the girl is under the table hiding from the symbols which bring her stress and fear. There is foam once again enveloping the scene and giving an eerie feeling. She is holding up the table cloth to get a peek at her surroundings. The backdrop is black for contrast and to show the darkness she is faced with. |
I added the flowers to symbolize fading time and youth, the spool to represent fashion and stitches holding me together, the Chanel logo to symbolize success, and a book that says Volumes 1-10 to portray al the work that needs to be accomplished before college. I also removed the straws from the girl's arm. After the critique I removed the flowers. |
